Project Scope:
Installation of excavator components on the Samson dredger, with a total weight of approximately 500 tons.
Completed Tasks:
- Installation of the excavator foundation, rotating bed, operator cabin, arm with lifting cylinders, and excavator bucket.
- Design and fabrication of tools and technological accessories for safe task execution.
- Tensioning of M48 slew bearing bolts using a hydraulic press in four tensioning stages.
- Development of installation methodology in accordance with the shipowner’s requirements, followed by execution of the assembly on the vessel.
